Summer is closing in, and with that the familiar routine, which often starts in panic and ends in frustration. Do you want to know how you can end this crazy diet cycle once and for all, without drastic measures?
Have you ever noticed how the onset of summer changes people? There’s a mix of emotions in the air. Pleasing thoughts of vacation time, lazing by the pool or beach can so easily mix with the dread of being seen in a swimsuit. You can only guess at how few people are happy in their swimsuits and it’s easy to imagine that those who are model them!
So, what’s the most common reaction to the onset of summer- probably an alarm ringing in your head, letting you know it’s time to go through that annual ritual, yet again. It’s time to find a way to shift all the body issues you have, in the shortest time possible, for those precious weeks of sun and sea.
Yes, it’s diet time- scrambling around for a ‘just in time’ solution. Flicking through magazines to see how the celebrities are doing it or maybe trying to find a new wonder supplement that’ll allow you to breathe a sigh of relief. Have we all forgotten that vacation is supposed to be a time to relax and recharge- we need it after the ordeal of getting ready!
Do the diets, plans and programs ever work the way you want them to? Or, are they a constant source of disappointment, where you vow, with each new year, not to repeat the same mistake again? (Or, at least, remember not to try the same solution again).
What If There Was Another Way?
What if I told you there was a way to leave all this behind? The fad diets, the endless frustration and the feeling that you are competing with the impossible when you flick through the crazy programs of the celebrities and ex-models.
Now, let’s be clear about this- I’m not talking about some new supplement or yet another new plan. I’m not even talking about a gym program that takes hours to complete. And there are no miracles in weight loss- I didn’t lose my weight from some amazing new contraption or focusing on a single food type. I did it through approaching health, fitness and weight control as a complete lifestyle.
I’m talking about:
Good, healthy and balanced food, without giving up all your favorite treats.
Energizing and results driven exercise- that doesn’t take forever to complete and fits busy lives.
Treating the body right and resting between workouts, as well as getting lots of sleep.
If you get these things right you can say goodbye to fad diets and programs, because the healthy lifestyle approach works and weight stays off, which means no more summer stress and bikini panic. Nothing boosts confidence like an overall sense of wellbeing and satisfaction. And when you feel good all the time, you’ll be ready for the beach all the time.
Imagine being so body confident that you’ll happily wear a swimsuit anytime. Remember, however, that I won’t take any responsibility for the odd looks from wearing a swimsuit to the grocery store!
