Almost everybody who makes the decision to lose weight and commit to a diet will be hoping for fast results. It is very realistic if you are following a good diet plan that you can start shed fat and maybe lose 10 pounds or more in a fairly short amount of time. For some people it will require more effort but you must make that commitment. There will be times when things go well but you may reach a plateau where nothing seems to work. The trick is to get over that stage and you can get the body you desire.
I have put together some rapid weight loss tips but please consider that you should not expect miracles. As you start to lose weight you will notice a difference on your body and this should spur you on. The problems really happen when nothing you try seems to work.
I have been there and struggled to lose even a few pounds in the beginning. Getting the right diet plan was the start and it actually became a joy to focus on my diet and my easy workout regime as the results were so astonishing.
Set some goals
The first of my diet tips is to set yourself some realistic goals. You may go on to exceed these but having a point to head towards is great motivation. If you have no goals or no plan then there is a good chance that excuses will start to come up very quickly.
Find a mentor
Dieting on your own is no fun at all. If you can get a mentor who will spur you on then you will have that extra motivation when times are tough. Somebody who has been there and managed to lose weight themselves would be great. I personally had a lot of help from Rob at Fat Burning Furnace who, along with his wife Kalen is extremely helpful and considerate (and have shed heaps of pounds themselves -their advice really is invaluable).

Don’t try to be perfect
If you completely cut out all the foods you enjoy then it is very likely you won’t last a few days. Everyone needs a treat sometimes and knowing that you have some food you enjoy at a point in the near future is often enough to spur you on.
No excuses
We all make excuses for why we can’t stick to the diet from time to time. It is only natural but should be avoided as much as possible. Make a firm commitment to yourself and even tell a close friend of family member so you have less opportunity to find an excuse. Sticking to your plan will require some effort but the results are more than worth it!
